Program services are conducted to increase an individual’s awareness of their HIV status and, if needed, facilitate access to the HIV care system using HIV testing, referral services, health literacy/education and linkage to care as a bridge to medical care, medication access and treatment adherence. This program provides continuous comprehensive health care for persons with HIV/AIDS. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care, compassion, and respect for human dignity and to the right of privacy. Your confidentiality and privacy are assured.
Clinic and case management services are supported through grants from the following agencies:
- State of Florida Division of Disease Control, HIV/AIDS program
- The Federal Government Department of Health and Human Services, HIV /AIDS Bureau
- Department of Housing and Urban Development
A financial screening at the initial appointment verifies client eligibility for patient care services and participation in the Florida AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). Client eligibility is updated annually and forms are available at FL RW Portal. All clinical fees are based upon a sliding scale and there is a CAP restricting the amount that a client is expected to pay.
To make an eligibility appointment, please call 863-231-6542 (Arcadia) and 941-875-9298 (Port Charlotte).
