Public Swimming Pools

The Department of Health in DeSoto County regulates all public swimming pools. This regulation is considered a significant factor in the prevention of disease, sanitary nuisances, and accidents. Pools are inspected once per year for safety, water chemistry, and sanitation. Annual operating permits are issued by the Department and are valid from July 1 through June 30. These permits must be applied for and renewed annually.

Private Swimming Pools
